World Vision CEO: “Humanitarian situation is grave” in Ukraine

Federal Way-based World Vision has been responding to the refugee crisis in Ukraine. CEO Edgar Sandoval has just returned after a trip to the Ukrainian borders with Romania and Moldova. More than three million people have fled Ukraine. World Vision has been taking water, food, hygiene kits and heaters to the “mother-and-child rest stations” at the border crossings.
