Lynnwood Police have seized a suspect vehicle they believe was involved in a drive-by shooting at Spruce Park that left two teenagers dead on the night of Thursday, July 14th. The following is from their release with the update:
A suspect vehicle believed to be associated with this shooting was identified and seized by Lynnwood Police for evidence processing. The vehicle is a 1996 Chevy Tahoe with distinctive black front fender and hood with a white body, WA license plate #CBP4384.
Detectives are requesting that anyone with information regarding this vehicle, especially who was occupying it on July 15th, to contact Detective Russ Sattarov 425.670.5633. Detectives are also requesting businesses in the area to review any video they may have showing this vehicle.
This vehicle is already in police custody.

Thursday evening (July 14th) at approximately 9:15pm, Lynnwood Police responded to Spruce Park (16834 36th Ave W, Lynnwood) to a call of shots fired from a vehicle. Responding officers found two victims (15-year and 16-year old males) with life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victims were immediately transported to area hospitals where they later died from their injuries.
Detectives are interviewing multiple witnesses who were at the park during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.

This shooting happened about a day and a half after another shooting at a group of teens that left two of them injured near 36th Avenue West and 154th Street. The suspect vehicle in that shooting is pictured below. Investigators are working to see if the two are related.
