Because of strong winds from the east, smoke from the Chilliwack Complex fire in the North Cascades is settling over Bellingham and the surrounding area. Meanwhile, Snohomish County air quality is improving as onshore flow pushes smoke from the Bolt Creek fire to the east. The National Weather Service says the improvement in Snohomish County is only temporary. Click play to hear Corwin Haeck’s report.
