Parking enforcement would not return to SPD under budget amendment

Under an amendment proposed by City Council Budget Chair Teresa Mosqueda, parking enforcement would remain under the aegis of the Seattle Department of Transportation. Parking enforcement was separated from SPD in response to the “Defund the Police” movement of 2020.
