Traffic at the Trailhead

We’re heading into the first sunny holiday weekend of the summer, at the Washington State Department of Natural Resources has a warning for anyone hoping to spend a little time on the trail: Don’t park illegally if you don’t want to get towed.

Despite a larger parking lot and new bus service to the trailhead at Mount Si, hikes along the I90 corridor are still experiencing an especially large burden of traffic. This is not only inconvenient, but it can be life threatening.
