Federal cuts could spell doom for WA budget

(OLYMPIA, Wash.) – Saying federal funding makes up roughly one-third of the state budget, Governor Bob Ferguson warned against President Trump’s efforts to drastically curtail government spending. At a press conference in which he was flanked by Attorney General Nick Brown, Ferguson said Washington will fight to keep congressionally appropriated money flowing to the Evergreen State.
