August 6th marks the 79 years since an atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima.

At 8:16 in the morning, approximately 70-thousand people died simultaneously and another 70-thousand would perish in the following months.

But, that wasn't the only fallout from the world's nuclear activities.

The documentary film "Silent Fallout" from accredited Japanese director Hideaki reveals the untold stories of the victims of nuclear testing in America and the account of one mother who risked her career to expose the dangers of radiation poisoning.

"Silent Fallout" will be featured at the Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action in Poulsbo on August 17th.
