Insulin price cap advances: House committee approves 2-year extension

The next stop is a full House vote, then the governor’s desk, for a bill to cap the out-of-pocket cost of insulin at $35/month until January 2025. With the U.S. Senate agreeing to the same insulin cost cap for Medicare patients, followed by drug maker Eli Lilly voluntarily capping its own insulin price, $35/month is rapidly becoming the new normal.
