Ninety-two year old character actor Robert Duvall rose at a town hall meeting in Warrenton VA to oppose granting a special land use permit to allow Amazon to build a 220-thousand square foot data center. Duvall lives in Fauquier County, VA. In the end, the town council voted to grant the permit. The veteran film star has appeared in such classics as To Kill a Mockingbird, The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, The Natural, and The Great Santini. He won a Best Actor Oscar for 1983’s Tender Mercies .
